PS3 - Resistance 2 New Weaponry Details
During an interview with James Stevenson about the multiplayer feature of Resistance 2, he was able to reveal a few interesting details about the game that you'd be pleased to find out.
You'll have two new weapons that you can use: the Marksmen and the Minigun.
The first one, the Marksman, is a mid-range sniper rifle which is semi-automatic. However, it can be just as powerful as the L23 Fareye, and has the potential to become a very formidable weapon.
Although it has been previously reported that Resistance 2 players will get the chance to use the Minigun, the secondary fire feature was only revealed just recently. Having this feature on your Minigun enables users to put down a tri-pod and restricts motion from the user. Meanwhile, there is a shield that will enable the user to be protected from any attacks made in front. However, there is no protection from oncoming attacks from behind, or a sniper aimed at you.
