PS3 - Resistance Map Pack, Patch Coming Next Week
Good news for those playing Resistance: Fall of Man online. Sometime next week Insomniac and Sony are releasing some new maps to play, entitled Westmorland and Camborne.
Along with the maps comes a patch for Resistance that, among other things, globalizes the servers. No matter what version of the game you have you will soon be able to play anyone worldwide. Other features of the patch include highlighting team names to reduce the likelihood of friendly fire ¨accidents¨, more skins, the ability to access the PlayStation Store from within the game and full integration of the PSN Buddy list into the game.
The patch is expected to be released in North America first with UK/ European gamers getting it shortly after.
