PS3 - Rock Band Delayed in Europe
A bit of unwelcome news for those in Europe and the UK who have been anxiously awaiting the release of Rock Band, the upcoming rhythm game from Harmonix and Electronic Arts.
During the EA games conference in Leipzig, Germany it was revealed that the game will not be released in those regions until Spring 2008. The reason given was localization issues as content needs to be tailored to each region the game is being released in, both on the disk and in downloads for future release.
As of yet they have still not released a price for the game. The game is expected to come in multiple packs due to bundling of guitar, drum and microphone peripherals. They did reveal, however, that there will also be a PS2 version of the game released along with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions previously announced.
Currently, the game is still slated for release before Christmas in North America.
