PS3 - Rock Band Music Store Coming This Week
EA and Harmonix are going to be making it a bit easier to purchase new songs for the hit game Rock Band- an upcoming patch will include the launch of a Rock Band store, which will let players preview and purchase music for the game without having to quit and go to the PlayStation Store.
Each song will have a difficulty level marking for each instrument and content can be organized by artist, music genre, difficulty level and release date.
One other interesting bit about the store is the eventual ability to buy whole albums- in pictures of the new store there is a menu which includes "Albums (coming soon)" among the choices. The first two records to be available this way are expected to be Nirvana's "Nevermind" and The Who's "Who's Next". No date has been set as of yet for when this will be available.
