PS3 - Rock Band Street Date Broken
Another high-profile game has once again made its way to Wal-Mart's shelves early, and that is Rock Band which is scheduled for a November 20 release date.
Some people has been reported to have purchased a copy of Rock Band Special Edition bundle from Wal-Mart in New York for a hefty US $169.99 from an original US $200 price tag. Others have tried to obtain another copy but this prompted the manager to disallow sale, knowing that it was breaking the street date.
Earlier this month, there's also been reports of Rock Band Special Edition bundles being sold at eBay for US $400. Therefore, Harmonix explained what fans should be looking out for when purchasing online copies of the game:
“These demo builds are kind of hobbled – for one the drums don't have kick pedals. Some of the demos don't have mics. And the build isn't a full-real retail version of the game. It is hobbled a bit and, obviously, the bass drum autoplays since there is no pedal that comes with the demo.
Well, this proves that patience could pay off in the end. So, those folks wanting to get their own Rock Band copies must await the game's November 20 release on the PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360 to keep off from making shady deals.
