PS3 - Rock Band Takes Stage Early
Potential buyers of the rhythm game Rock Band will surely be in for a treat as representatives from developer Harmonix has confirmed that the game will be moved at an earlier release date, from November 23 to November 20.
Along with the game's debut on the market, there will be launched a new community website called RockBand.com. Featured in the website are leaderboards, personalized band pages that will include the group's accomplishments, photo creator, blogs, forums and many other form of social interactions, catering to the developers' aim to enhance the social aspect of the Rock Band experience.
Although it was originally announced to be released only for the Xbox 360 and PS3, this time PS2 owners will get to experience the game when it is released on December 18. European gamers will have to wait until the first quarter of 2008 before they can get their hands on Rock Band.
