PS3 - Rumor Central: Firmware 2.41 Coming Mid-Week?
Before I begin I want to make everyone aware this is only rumor at this point. Ok? Good.
The aborted launch of firmware 2.40 last week has many wondering when a "fixed" version would be made available. Sony had pulled version 2.40 after a number of users had their PS3s rendered useless after doing the system update.
Well, looks like someone at Sony's customer support has let it slip to CVG the update, version 2.41, will be available by mid-to-late of this week. That gives a timeframe of somewhere between Wednesday and Friday.
Keep in mind that Sony did not officially announce this yet so it is possible the CSR from Sony was mistaken. For the sake of those that were affected, however, here's hoping it's true.
