PS3 - Rumor Central: Warhawk War Rooms In Home?

With the effort and attention that Sony has poured onto the PlayStation Home, it won't be surprising if there will ever come an online hub that enables one to integrate games for the PlayStation 3. Just recently, news has been circling around with regards to Incognito Entertainment's online shooter Warhawk using Home.

Kotaku sources claim that the Home lobby will serve as "war room" for Warhawk, and enabling up to eight players to talk about their next battle. A 3D replica of the "sand table" shows avatars of soldiers that can be moved so players will be able to envision the field.

From there, you can jump into Warhawk from Home. However, it was never mentioned if Home- made avatars can be brought to the game, nor was the sand table known to support models of tanks, planes, and other vehicles for better visualization of what can be in battle. And since Sony has not given any confirmation on any of these, then we can tag it as a rumor.

Until then, check this space again for any updates on this one.
