PS3 - RUMOR: PS2, Dreamcast Games Coming To PSN?
Wouldn't it be nice to access the entire PS2 catalog at the PSN? But wouldn't it be much better if you can access Dreamcast originals? Well, you can stop imagining as the recent rumors going about in the gaming industry indicates that will cover something quite interesting for PlayStation gamers.
Some details of a supposed August 5 meeting between Sega and Sony were leaked wherein it details the possibility of special Japanese Import Section over at PSN, which obviously will feature some of the best Japanese games. The pegged price point for these games range between US$ 9.99 up to as much as US$ 39.99.
There was supposedly mention of the Yakuza series during the said meeting too. Supposedly, Sony is interested in helping market the game in exchange for a possible exclusivity deal.
There was also mention for a possible PSP bundle that will be called Valkyria 1937. This might be an internal name for Valkyria Chronicles 2, but until now the details to this are still quite sketchy. The detail concerning the US release for Phantasy Star Portable 2 is more concrete, though. It is available on both UMD and the PSP Go via GameStop.
More info soon.
