PS3 - Rumor: Video Download Service Coming This Summer
PlayStation 3 gamers who happen to rad the L.A. Times may have noticed some interesting new regarding the console- an annoucnement about an approximate timeline for launch of a video download service for the PlayStation 3.
According to the article, unnamed executives with Sony have said the service could begin as soon as "this summer". While not official, it would be convenient timing as the 2008 Electronics Entertainment Expo is in July and something like this would be a great way to kick things off. For the time being, however, we will have to leave this in the rumor stage until Sony makes an official announcement.
