PS3 - Seabass Says No Change in Code In PES 2008 For Jump To PS3

Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka, Executive Producer of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, has revealed some important details regarding PES 2008's recent move to the Playstation 3 in an interview with CVG.

Takatsuka details that for the game's online gaming, it will only support one on one playing. He believes that gamers will not be able to get the best experience when playing for two on two and even six on six. He also adds that there is “absolutely no difference in terms of code between the PS3 and 360 versions.” This does not mean however that the gaming experience is the same, as there is apparently different controllers for each consoles.

Regarding the controller, here's what Takatsuka had to say: “I am really bad at using the 360 controller and I make a lot more missed passes and mistakes using the 360 controller, so I like the PS3 controller more. However a lot of my friends prefer the 360 controller so it's really personal preference.”

With this move, gamers and analysts alike are expecting that the PS3's DualShock 3 might be added into the roster. This, Takatsuka himself believes will make the game even better as motion sensing will give the game a simpler yet more accurate control system.
