PS3 - Sega Using Promo Kits To Hype New Japanese Releases
Sega Japan is looking to get the fans' attention for its two upcoming releases in the said region. They'll be giving away up to 100,000 promo kits for their titles Yakuza 3 and Valkyrie of the Battlefield.
There are two ways to acquire the goodies, so fans listen up! First, you can order the Sega products through the company's official e-commerce site. Next, you can attend its slated events in the following venues:
* Games Maya Kasai - January 31
* Yodobashi camera Shinjuku - February 2
* Sakuraya Shinjuku East - February 2
* Softmap Nanba - February 2
* Yodobashi Camera Sapporo - February 9
Contained in the said promo kit is a booklet with exclusive art and details for both games. Aside from that, it also includes a DVD which, when played in a standard DVD player, features trailers of Yakuza 3 and Valkyrie of the Battlefield. Meanwhile, if it is played on the Sony PS3 or PC, it contains lovely HD versions of the trailers and some wallpapers.
Yakuza 3 will hit stores in Japan on March 6, while Valkyrie of the Battlefield will be released over a month later on April 24th. They are both expected to do well in the Japanese market as soon as they are released.
