PS3 - SOCOM: Confrontation Moved To October
For PS3 gamers who were looking forward to getting their hands on Slant Six's SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, maybe you should keep your excitement level checked because it's not coming anytime soon, yet. The game's official site has just announced that the game's initial release date of September 16 will be no more.
The game has been pushed back to a later date, October 14 that is, so that the developers can work on ironing out a few tweaks when it comes to the game's online experience. Seth Luisi, SCEA Director of Development, said: "Rather than sacrifice features, quality and stability, we had to do the right thing and re-adjust our schedule."
The delay on the launching date will not only enable the developers to work on the tweaks for SOCOM: Confrontation, but also lets them make the necessary preparation for the upcoming E3 event. Fans should be pleased to hear that the game might be seeing its Beta phase soon. I'm sure its the kind of "delay news" that fans are happy about. Check us back for more updates on this!
