PS3 - Sony Explains Lack Of Release Dates For PSOne Classics
Since Sony revealed their plans to release PSOne Classics onto the PS3 and PSP, old time gamers were excited to take on some of these old favorites on the current consoles. In some cases, new releases arrive on the PSN without prior announcement. This has led fans wondering as to whether there would be a definite release schedule for these classics so they can look out for them on the online store.
According to the PlayStation Store's Senior Manager, Grace Chen: “There are a variety of reasons that need to be considered when releasing Psone classics...code emulation and testing, licensing rights, music clearances, etc...”
While some improvements still had to be made on this process, Sony has undeniably released a good deal of PSOne Classics this year.
