PS3 - Spider-Man Swinging Back To PS3 In September In Shattered Dimensions

Activision has recently announced a new Spider-Man title coming to the PlayStation 3 entitled "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" and this one lives up to the name.

The story is written by Marvel Comics writer Dan Slott and centers around an object called "The Tablet Of Order And Chaos". While foiling a robbery of said tablet it gets broken into 4 pieces. As is the case with most mystic objects, this causes a bit of a rift in the time/ space continuum and allows us access to other realities, each with their own type of gameplay.

As seen in the above video, they have already revealed two of these realities- "Amazing" 9the iconic red and blue Spidey we know) and "Noir" (based on a mini series Marvel did with an alternate reality set in the 1930s). The gameplay in Amazing is mostly web-based, with Spidey using his webs and reflexes to gain the upper hand while Noir is more stealth- based with players having to use the shadows and take out the enemies without being seen.

Two more realities are going to be shown before the launch in September. If the video is any indication, this could be one to look out for!
