PS3 - Splatterhouse Marked For Q3 2010 Release
Namco Bandai announced back in June that Splatterhouse will suffer a delay on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 until 2010. Recently, they have pointed a more definite release window, which is on the third quarter of 2010. In May of 2008, the game was announced to be developed by BottleRocket Entertainment. But in February 2009, Namco Bandai pulled off the studio from this project.
Although more of an update to the gross-out arcade beat-'em-up, which was originally released in 1988, Splatterhouse will showcase an original story from Gordon Rennie. In here, players will take on the role of a college student who is searching for his kidnapped girlfriend. In his quest, he chances upon a mask that equips him with great power that will (hopefully) enable him to survive this bloodlust.
