PS3 - Stars Of Beowulf Lend Voices, Likenesses To Game
The upcoming Beowulf movie, like most movie, will be taking its route towards game conversion. As confirmed by Ubisoft Entertainment, Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins, along with Emmy Award winner Ray Winstone, Brendan Gleeson, and Sebastien Roche will be rendering their voice and likeness in Ubisoft's Beowulf (due for release soon on the PS3, PSP, PC, and Xbox 360).
The game's story is taken a dozen decades further from the movie's plot as Anthony Hopkins play King Hrothgar, while Ray Winstone will embody the titular character. Meanwhile, Wiglaf will be played by Brendan Gleeson and Sebastien Roche will be taking on the role of Wulfgar.
Ubisoft's Tiwak Studios is collaborating with Shangri-La Entertainment and Paramount Pictures in developing the Beowulf video game. This recently released news seems to be an indication that the game is nearing completion. The release of Beowulf will be sometime in November 2007.
