PS3 - Street Fighter IV Game, Movie Details
Everybody's talking about Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) and it is for good reason. After all, loyal fans to this classic game have long been awaiting for the game's release.
Yoshinori Ono recently sat on an interview to reveal several aspects concerning the game, such as online play, parrying skills, and balance. However, they have decided to take out parrying, and he explains it:
“I didn't want to create an entertainment videogame as such. I wanted Street Fighter IV to be a tool for the people to use and enjoy themselves...I want Street Fighter IV to be a tool for everyone to enjoy. Therefore I deliberately didn't include the parrying system. But, you know, we carried on with the focus attack and such. Basically we used the rule book from Street Fighter II because that was the most popular.”
So, instead of an "entertainment game", Street Fighter IV is going to be an "enjoyment tool". Ooook. Meanwhile, he also took the time to clear the issue on the release date.
Although the Street Fighter movie producer, Patrick Aiello, has confirmed beforehand that the movie will come out in March 2009, Yoshinoro Ono is set to deliver the disappointing news.
Apparently, Ono and his team are still on the process of developing the game and adding essential features for it to be ready for release on the consoles. This is despite the fact that the arcade version for the game is already out in Asia. This is making the fans all over the world eager to get their hands on the game.
