PS3 - Street Fighter IV Game To Launch Beside Movie
2009 seems to be the year for Capcom's Street Fighter. Apparently, both the PS3 and Xbox 360's Street Fighter 4 and the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie have been announced for March 2009. During a recent interview with the movie's producer, Patrick Aiello, he talked about how the movie adaptation will differ from the hit gaming franchise.
Aiello revealed that the movie will aim to reset the series, the way Batman Begins did. Although both the film and the game will be released on the same day, they are quite different in content except for the characters.
He confirmed the March 2009 release for both the game and the movie, since 2009 also marks the Street Fighter franchise's 20th anniversary. Therefore, expect this to be a hit year when both arrives on your big screen and consoles.
