As the release date for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix draws near, here are exciting new details for the game.
Although sticking to the original, this new version will be upgraded with a support resolutions of up to 1080p and an option for a 4:3 screen ratio to achieve that classic feel. Also, the original 17 characters from the series will be available for gameplay, including M. Bison and Akuma.
When it comes to your opponents in the game, you have the option to either play against the computer or against fellow gamers in an online or offline playing mode. And in keeping up with the tradition of arcade games, by using a “virtual quarter”, four spectators can buy into an on-going battle.
And probably the most exciting feature of the game just yet, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will feature worldwide rankings and leaderboards, according to characters and country. The charts will be based on overall win and loss record, number of throws, perfects, highest combos and many others.
