PS3 - Talk of Budget PS3 Only Rumor, Say SCEE

Lately, there had been some talk that the possibility of the launch of a budget PlayStation 3 with a 40 GB hard drive, no USB ports and no backward compatibility. Some gamers had been hoping for this to be announced during the Tokyo Game Show as it had been rumored by some videogame sites and blogs.

Sony's European branch, SCEE, has confided that this rumor is only that- a rumor. There is no "budget system" in the works.
