PS3 - The Darkness Sequel Confirmed, Starbreeze Not Involved
Last year, Top Cow Productions teased gamers about the idea of releasing a sequel for PS3's The Darkness, which is a shooting game. However, fans thought there was no truth to it as it has been 15 months since the original release and there is no sign of the said sequel.
However, in this year's Comic-Con, fans finally got what they were waiting for. Marc Silvestri of Top Cow finally confirmed the sequel after a year of waiting. But if you were hoping that Starbreeze will be on the helm for this new project, then you are set for a bit of disappointment.
Top Cow CEO Johan Kristiansson has revealed that “there were talks about a Darkness sequel, but Starbreeze is not involved in anything like that right now.” He further went on to say that, “[they] are busy on two projects with EA.”
While no details were revealed about the sequel, we did get information that this sequel will be priced at US $29.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
