PS3 - The Grinder Making Way To PS3
High Voltage Software, the development team behind several WiiWare games, has unveiled a new game under its name – The Grinder. This game takes players into an alternate world where vampires, zombies, and werewolves co-exist, such that Earth inhabitants have learned to deal with them. This out-of-this-world game features a 4-player online experience, which is believed to be Wii's alternative to Left 4 Dead.
Apparently, that is not the big news here. The Grinder used to be a Wii-exclusive, and is therefore making its way onto the PS3 for the first time. Kerry Ganofsky, President of High Voltage Software, candidly reveals during the announcement of the latest title to add into your PS3 library:
“Our secret is out! Grinder is no longer a Wii exclusive. We plan to ship on Xbox 360, Sony PS3, and PC as well.”
When asked for further details on the PS3 version of the game, all that Ganofsky was able to reveal is that you'd have to wait for GDC for that. However, the game has been set for a Halloween 2011 release window. Looks like it is still a long wait before PS3 gamers can experience this thriller for the first time. So, keep it here for further info.
