PS3 - This Week's Blu-Ray Movie Releases (July 22/ 08)

If you found last week's batch of Blu-ray releases exciting, then wait till you see what this week's batch has to offer. Majority of the titles included this week promises to bring thrill right into your living room.

Brendan Fraser kicks things off with The Mummy: Deluxe Edition, wherein he discovers an ancient tomb during his treasure hunting expedition in the Sahara. The mummy comes back to life to haunt those who are living and attempts to regain his ancient Egyptian kingdom. Join Fraser and the rest of his crew for this promises to be an exciting windup.

The sequel to The Mummy film is also included in this week's lineup, The Mummy Returns: Deluxe Edition. In this film, the cast from the first film comes back to take on another adventure with some cool additions. Do look out for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson's film debut in this one.

However, that is not the only appearance of this WWE superstar in this week's Blu-ray releases. After a brief appearance at the sequel to The Mummy, he is back and stealing the spotlight with The Scorpion King. This epic adventure will definitely leave you gasping for breath.

If you're looking to add a little suspense and thrill to your Blu-ray watching episode, then I Know What You Did Last Summer definitely adds that much needed jolt, especially since this one is rendered in high-def. Follow the unenviable situation that has left a group of teenagers being trailed by a serial killer.

If you still want more, then Urban Legend will satisfy your craving. This film features teenagers that are also being haunted down by a serial killer. This follows the story of a mysterious killing incident at campus that has led these teenagers to investigate. Turns out, this has caused them to be the killer's next target.
