With the new week comes a new set of Blu-ray releases, and with this one we've got three movies to grace your Blu-ray home entertainment systems. Although the list is not as hefty as last week's, you can still expect to find something worth watching.

This group of movies will aim to provide you with wholesome fun in the form of a true story, a magical toy shop, and extinct animals. So, which movies are we referring to? The Rookie, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, and Ice Age. Let's take a closer look.

The Rookie is a movie based on a true story. It is about the life of Jim Morris, a high school baseball team coach, whose career was cut short after suffering from a shoulder injury. Then, he inspires his team to get into playoffs while he tries out for the Major Leagues. Truly an inspiring story!

Then, there's Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, which is about a fantastic toy store that comes to life only when you believe it. Mr. Magorium is the store owner who decides to “leave” and appoints the management duties of the magical store to his manager, Molly Mahoney. With the turn of events, the store changes into a gloomy and sad place. Watch to see if things will be brought to the way it was before.

At the mention of Ice Age, two things come to mind: there's lots of ice and probably mammoths. While Ice Age has these two, you can expect more. It's not just a fun movie, it has a heart warming story as well.
