PS3 - UbiSoft Cancels Heroes Game
For fans awaiting what was previously announced video game version for the hit TV show Heroes, well you are in for a disappointment. Ubisoft has decided to cancel the plans of developing the said TV show by NBC. Jaime Cottini, PR Director for Ubisoft, has released the following statement:
“The rights to the Heroes video game have reverted back to NBC Universal. Ubisoft will no longer produce a video game based on the TV series.”
The supposed video game adaptation of the hit TV series was initially announced in July 2007 and was supposed to be released this year. But after Ubisoft has published other TV show-based games such as Lost and CSI, they have decided to abandon this plan. The said games did not do very well, which probably led to their decision not to pursue this one.
Heroes' third season is currently ongoing and has dropped in rating since the first season.
