PS3 - UK Launch On March 23?
First the good news- as originally stated the PS3 will be launching in March 2007 in the UK and European markets. This was confirmed by SCEE´s David Reeves.
The bad news? It may not be until late March when it happens. This possibility came about after TBWA, the company in charge of the PS3´s advertising, announced they will be starting the ad campaign in late March. This ties in to recent reports from retailers that say the same thing.
One thing to keep in mind is this is only speculation at this point and Sony hasn´t yet given their official word on a street date. It is expected to be announced in the next few days. On the plus side, a delay of a few weeks gives more time to get more units ready.
