PS3 - UK SingStar Store To Get More Content
After a series of complaints that Sony has received about the SingStar title, they have decided to release a new content for the said music game.
Following its release last December 7, various reports from gamers have reached Sony such as network outages, lack of content on SingStore, as well as false advertising from Sony.
This led gamers to make an online petition, which was addressed by Sony in their recent press release statement. According to Sony:
SingStar fans have been asking when the SingStore will be populated with more songs. Our original vision, as outlined in early preview coverage of SingStar, was to have more than 350 songs available on the SingStore. We are working hard to increase the volume of content as quickly as possible.
In this recent update, expect eighteen new tracks (15 English and 3 Spanish tracks) to be made available on SingStore from January 18. Among those included are tracks from KT Tunstall, David Bowie, and Blur. Then, on the week of February 4, expect tracks from The Editors and MC Hammer. Furthermore, Sony also promises to update the SingStore content twice a month thereafter.
