PS3 Video - Download Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Sony recently confirmed that gamers can either download Gran Turismo 5 Prologue straight to your PS3 hard drive via the PlayStation Network, or wait a little longer and get it on a Blu-Ray disc just like any other game.

The full PS3 version of Gran Turismo 5 won't be ready until 'some time' in 2008, so the idea behind prologue is to give to a taster of the full game in time for Christmas.

GT5 Prologue has around 40 cars and tracks from Eiger Nordwand (you will have played this on the demo), the London City Track and Suzuka. To make this worth buying you can flip the tracks into reverse mode and several routes will be available.

Best of all is the announcement that SIXTEEN (yes 16!) players can race together online... what a buzz !

Playstation 3 gamers who own a HDTV will be overjoyed to hear that the game will run at the SUPER-HIGH 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
