PS3 - Warhawk "Operation: Broken Mirror" Booster Pack Details
Dylan Jobe, Incognito Entertainment's game producer, has recently discussed a few of the upcoming features that will be included in Warhawk's new booster pack, Operation Broken Mirror. In a recent interview with Kotaku, Jobe explained details of some of the latest “toys” gamers will be able to play around within the expansion.
APC is the new vehicle which was previously mentioned as the new forward base wherein players can respawn around and where they can also get additional equipment. Furthermore, the APC will also have a piece of equipment that is “like the mother of all bubble shields” and is 200 feet wide. The protective shield will help stop weapon fire from coming in and out of the bubble. But be careful, as when a Warhawk gets a little too close, it could become unstable and might explode.
Aside from that, the new booster pack will include a new battlefield with ten new layouts, and an updated layout for the existing maps. Although Jobe didn't mention a release date for the said expansion pack, he is hoping that they could get it ready by the end of next month, which is sometime around the first half of April.
But as with good news, there are also a few bad news to go along with this pack. It won't be having any new gameplay modes nor a single player campaign. Jobe, however, detailed that it was a conscious decision to go purely multiplayer, as an episodic single player content might not sit well for most gamers.
All in all, this expansion pack is something that Warhawk fans should not let pass. Hopefully, more details regarding the pack will be revealed before Operation Broken Mirror is released.
