These are the words that are featured at the beginning of a new Kingdom Hearts movie.
Some of the movie might look familiar as it was shown, partially, as the "Secret Ending" of Kingdom Hearts II.
But wait, this new movie is not for a "sequel" in the form of Kingdom Hearts III. Now, it is the opening movie for a brand new "Prequel" only on the PSP.
Yes, it seems the lovely guys over at Square Enix decided to throw us all a Curve Ball so to speak.
As shown at the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix have revealed details of a portable, PSP, version of their Disney crossover RPG franchise.

As you can see. They certainly confused us by putting some of that in at the end of the second KH game.
I must say, though, that this really should be a great game.
Apparently, although details are few and far between.
Although, we have found out the following:
This game is indeed a Prequel. It takes place years before Sora (the hero of Kingodm Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II) is even born, in a time when there were numerous Keyblade Masters.
The game revolves around three Keyblade Apprentices that have been given the task to find the Keyblade Master, Xenahort, and his apparentice. (Did that name sound familiar? I'll leave you to ponder that, lol)
The video shows, as you just saw, a character that looks awfully familiar at the end of it. Now, we do not have confirmation that it IS in fact King Mickey (or Mickey Mouse, before he became King) so it's merely a presumption that it IS in fact him.
Any and all details we can gather will be posted as soon as we receive it. As soon as we have further information, you will have it.
The game is, probably, due out sometime next year, but it's not been confirmed 100% yet.
It has definitely been confirmed as a Japanese game, but we are yet to have definite confirmation that it will be hitting the shores of the "western world".
Although, after selling millions upon millions of copies of the first two Kingdom Hearts games (and the inbetween game, Chain of Memories, which was released on the Nintendo DS, and then, most recently, released on the PS2 as Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix +), I am pretty sure that the game WILL be released here.
Don't take that as fact though, until it is confirmed by Square Enix themselves.

I personally cannot wait for this game.
I just hope they DO release it over here, as we proved we would purchase this kind of game by all the millions and millions of copies of the Kingdom Hearts games that have been sold.
