PSP - Dakota Richards, Freddie Highmore Lend Voices To The Golden Compass Game

With the upcoming release of multi-platform video game The Golden Compass, young talents Dakota Blue Richards and Freddie Highmore will be rendering their voices to the game's main characters.

In Dakota's first voice-over acting job, she will be playing the protagonist Lyra. Meanwhile, Freddie will give life to the role of Pertalaimon, Lyra's Daemon.

“I do find it difficult, but I also find it fun,” says Dakota, when asked about her new voice-acting job.

“To convey the essence of a character you've got to believe in it and I think you have to get into the character, because if you don't believe in it no one else will,” Freddie shares about the challenge of voice-acting.

The Golden Compass is a game created by Sega and Shiny Entertainment, and is based on the upcoming film of the same name.

Join Lyra in her quest to rescue a kidnapped friend as soon as this game becomes available for the PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Playstation Portable, and the Nintendo DS.
