PSP - Downloadable PSOne Game Pricing Announced

SCEA has just announced the price range for the downloadable PSOne games that will be playable on the PSP. The first batch of games will range from USD $5.95 to USD $10.95. Ranging in size from 140 - 550 MB in size, they will be accessible through the PlayStation Store on the PS3 where they will be downloaded and then transferred to the PSP´s memory stick.

The first titles will be available ¨in the coming weeks¨ according to an official statement. Also ¨additional first- and third- party games will be added on an ongoing basis.¨

No word as of yet which games will be made available first, however japan has access to 10 games starting today including Resident Evil: Director´s Cut, Tekken 2, Jumping Flash! and Arc the Lad.

As reported earlier firmware version 3.0 was released recently for the PSP which allows remote play between the PSP and the 60 GB PS3 (which will eventualy allow access via a wi-fi hot spot) as well as the software necessary to run the PSOne games and an upcoming camera attatchment.
