PSP - Firmware 6.00 Now Available

Sony has just released the latest firmware for the PSP, bringing the system up to version 6.00. This update is a minor one overall with a few changes being made.

Games can now be grouped into similar categories (PSOne Classics for example) and the updater is getting a rename to match the PS3- it will now be called "System Update". The other upgrades include improved security for the PSP's browser and more choices of color for the system's XMB menu.

The update can be had by jumping to the Network Update portion of your PSP's Settings menu.
