PSP - GPS Add-On Demo'd At GDC 08
Since last year, word has already been out with regards to a GPS accessory for the Sony PlayStation Portable but until now we haven't seen much of it. But not until, of course, the recent GDC 2008 event. During the GDC event, they shown a devkit PSP running the GPS software, which demonstrates the Sony PSP's capabilities as a GPS tool.
The results was not really optimal, but it was a close estimate, nonetheless. Some have cited that the inaccurate GPS tracking was due to the fact that the booth was situated underground, which may have blocked the GPS receiver from direct contact with satellites.
In case you didn't know, there are about seven GPS-enabled titles already out in Japan, which includes Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.
