PSP - Ignition Publishing New Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands Games

For the first quarter of 2008, Marvelous and Ignition Entertainment will be bringing classic fun games to North American gamers. Apparently, they have made a deal to release upcoming titles like Bubble Bobble Revolution and New Zealand Revolution Story for the DS, and Rainbow Islands Revolution for the PSP in North America.

The DS titles are remakes of classic games and is now equipped with some new extras like upgraded graphics and new level additions. Meanwhile, Rainbow Islands Revolution, which will be released for the PSP, is a new game in the Bubble Bobble franchise. Marvelous owns the rights to these titles and Ignition Entertainment will be the one to publish it for North America.

Ignition USA President Ajay Chadha said that “these games have such classic arcade appeal you will be looking for the slot to put your quarter.” He further adds, “they are iconic classics that every DS and PSP system owner must have and we are honored to partner with Marvelous to bring them to North America.”
