PSP - Need For Speed: ProStreet Goes Portable
Need for Speed: ProStreet is the latest title off of the popular Need for Speed franchise, which was able to speed its way to the top spot in the UK charts and still managing to hang on to second place in its second week in the market. However, the PSP version of this game is still under process and everyone are excited to spill in details about its handheld version.
Something that the console versions won't be having is the sporting exclusive content, which features a new gameplay mode and a new feature for the Race Maps mode.
The assistant producer for ProStreet PSP, Gregg McGillivray, has detailed about the new features of this game in a recent interview and he has revealed that the handheld version will be having new features called Driver Persona and Driver Intuition.
In Driver Persona, it is like an additional option for the game's difficulty setting. It will ask if you're an experienced racer (Speed King), a newcomer (Weekend Warrior), or if you've played other racing games before (Adrenaline Junkie).
Meanwhile, Driver Intuition is a tool that will help you weave your way through the track by sending out hints on the map, among other things. The amount of help you will get from Driver Intuition will depend variably on the Driver Persona you've chosen.
Need for Speed ProStreet on the PSP will also have the Speed Mode, which offers you a great variety of speed-related events. On the other hand, the Race Maps mode will get a new feature that enables players to check out the schematics of all the tracks they've raced in.
