PSP - New Firmware Update, More PSOne Downloads For Japan
The PSP has once again received another firmware update, now up to v 3.03. This latest update allows for more of the downloadable PSOne games from the PlayStation Store to be played.
This ties in to Japan getting more downloadable PSOne games available for purchase and makes it feasible that more will be available soon for other regions. The new games now available in Japan are:
• R-Types (Irem, shooter)
• Taiyo no Shippo (aka Tail of the Sun, Artdink, action)
• U-SA (Artdink, puzzle)
• Dino Crisis (Capcom, action-adventure)
• Global Force (SCE, sim)
• Gekisou Tomaranna (SCE, racing)
• Maru Oukoku no Ningyou Hime (Nippon Ichi, RPG)
• The Convenie Ano Machi wo Dokusen se yo (Hamster, sim)
• Mr. Driller (Bandai Namco Games, action)
No word was given on when or if any of these titles would be made available in other territories. However, some of the titles look like certainties to make the move.
