PSP - Patapon Demo Hits PlayStation Store Feb. 14

Good news for those of us in North America who have been wondering about the game Patapon but didn't necessarily want to pony up the preorder bucks to get the demo to check out.

Chris Hinojosa-Miranda from Sony has just posted in the North American PlayStation blog the demo will be made available in both the PlayStation 3's PlayStation Store and the PSP PlayStation Store, accessible via the computer. This demo is the exact same one that comes on UMD when you pre-order the game at selected retail outlets, which means the exclusive "Spear of Protection" won't be so exclusive any more.

For those wondering just what the heck Patapon is, it is a rhythm game with a graphical style that is very quirky in a Loco Roco-esque kind of way. Check out the videos below to get an idea of what I mean.
