Phantasy Star Portable is one of the top selling games for the handheld in Japan. Therefore, fans should be pleased to hear about the news of its upcoming sequel.

SEGA has announced the release of “The Best” version of Phantasy Star Portable, which is slated for an October 8, 2009 release. It will come with a special UMD that features the opening movie for Phantasy Star Portable 2, set for release in Japan this Winter.
