Not sure how they managed to do it but someone got themselves an early download of the June issue of Qore digital magazine and it has revealed something that has been rumored for a long time.
Introducing the PSP Go, a UMD-less PlayStation Portable with 16 GB of memory storage built in along with the normal PSP bits (wi-fi, memory stick slot) plus the screen slides up to reveal the controls. Have a looksee for yourself:
As mentioned in the video this is not a replacement- both the PSP 3000 and the PSP Go will be available to keep those that prefer having the game on disc happy.
We'll be able to see more news about the PSP Go Next week when Sony make the official announcement during E3 next week.
