PSP - PSP Go To have 225 Downloadable Games At Launch

On October 1st, the much awaited launching of the new PSP Go will offer a price point of $250m, which is $50 cheaper than the new PS3 Slim. To produce buzz on its debut, SCEA has announced that there are as much as 16,000 downloadable content available for the PSP Go upon launch. The contents include television episodes, movies, and gaming ttiles.

Since this is mainly a gaming console, there 225 titles available on day one. You can also expect games previously released via UMD and the PSN. There are quite a few PSOne titles that have been reformatted to be compatible with the PSP. Some of those included in the games catalog are GoW: Chains of Olympus, Daxter, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Rainbox Six Vegas, Fieldrunners, Tetris, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, Madden NFL 10, Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, among others.

New games are also in the lineup, such as Beaterator, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe, MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, and Gran Turismo.
